    The present owner is Major R. H. B. Humphreys.
    The traces of Irish ownership of different places in the old estate of Carrigacunna may be gleaned from the Irish names which still exist in this district, namely, (Fiohbane) Féith Bhán (white vein), Cnoc an Tobair, Bán Mór, Crois an Ráis, Clais na Muc, Ceapach.
    Several traces of houses remained on the sides of the hill near the castle, up to recent times and "ridges" of garden may still be seen.
