   many dairy farms. An incident recalled by Jane Nagle of Killavullen shows how mean he was and how his employees dreaded him. One morning one of his dairy men accidentally spilled a churn of milk. Being an honest man he approached his employer to tell him of the occurrence. "I spilled a churn of milk, sir," said the workman in a shy manner. "I don't know what you are saying," answered Mylie. "I spilled a churn of milk,sir" said the workman a little louder. "I don't know what you are saying," again answered Mylie. "I spilled a churn of milk and I'll pay for it." said the workman finally. "Ah, sure anyone would know what you are saying now," said the mean-hearted Mylie who was always referred to by the old people as a "heartless miser." All the fine farms which he used as dairy farms are now in the hands of hard working farmers.
