    Afterwards whenever any of the O'Keeffes was dying a banshee was heard. It seemed as if small dogs were crying in the air and bird like animals flew overhead The people knew of the "curse" and they called the banshee "Gaidairín Uí Caoim". The seven generations are over now so the little dogs are not heard but my father heard them about thirty years ago.
