    JOHN LEHANE, Killavoy, Banteer, was a wonderful walker. He started one morning at 5 o'c. from his house in Killavoy to walk to Cork, a distance of about 30 miles He reached the city at 8 o'c, taking only 3 hrs. to cover the 30 miles.
    DAN LEHANE, Lyre, Banteer, was a famous mower. He used to mow 1 acre 2 rds and 12 perches in a day.
