  2. Story from - Mrs. M. Sheehan. Banteer. Co. Cork.
    Age - 40 yrs.
    There is a story that is told locally. A little girl used be sent to school regularly and all seemed to be going well until one day her mother met the teacher.
    The mother made inquiries as to how her child was progressing and to her great surprise the teacher informed her that she had not seen the child for weeks.
    The child was questioned very closely and neither parents nor teacher could get a satisfactory explanation from her concerning her absences from school and so they decided
