    Long ago in my district large quantities of wheat, oats and other cereals were grown. From these cereals and especially from wheat bread was made which was black bread. At that time, although flour-mills were very plentiful people used querns to grind corn into flour.
    They had many different kinds of bread. One of these was oaten-meal bread. The ingred-
