  1. The Famine which was caused by the failure of the potatoes effected all Ireland. The potatoes should be sprayed between sowing season and the digging season, but at that particular time the potatoes were not sprayed and therefore they failed.
    The potatoes were sown in ridges. They decayed in the ground. The people tried to eat all kinds of vegetables, but they died of hunger and sickness
