  1. Long ago there lived an old woman in Sandescove. Her name was Mrs Donovan the remains of her house is still there.
    One day she was wearing a big dress with three hoops on it. and long ago they used have the back of it stuffed with wool and this woman had no wool and she stuffed it with hay and as she was passing one day along a road and a hungry donkey smelt the hay and he took a bite out of it until he ate it all out of the hoops.
