    There is a Holy Well in this parish called Lady's Well. It is situated in Michael Finn's land in Dunowen. It is believed that the Blessed Virgin once appeared at this well and the print of her fingers are to be seen on a stone near it. On the fifteenth of August ever year people with any kinds of diseases go to this well and make certain rounds
