    on our land are Kerr's Pinks, and champion. The kind of potatoes grown in the neighbours land are British Queens, Irish Queens, Aran Banners, Aran Chiefs, Gladstone, Golden Wonders, Great Scot, Aran Pilot.
    When potatoes are been cut, the place where the eye is is cut out and it is call the "sgiolán". The piece that is left is called the "críolachán". The potatoes are called "spuds" in this district.
