- In the parish of Enniskeane and about a mile from Enniskeane village is a place called the "Palace Anne". That place got its name from a lady that lived there long ago names Anne and she had no religion.
Anyone that she did not like she got her servants to kill that person. When the person was dead she would come and cut off the head. She used to put them on spears on a wall on the public road.
The part of the road where it is situated is very quite and dark. Sometimes ghosts are seen there by night.- Collector
