Meanwhile a tall man dressed in black clothes came in. He resembled a priest. The woman remained in the room. He went up to the cradle and took out a prayer book, and started to read it. After sometime he looked down in the room and said.
"A bhean ata thíos ag a bhfuil an foidhne bhréagh,
Féuch ar do leanbh, is tá sé slán."
The woman didn't come up, but she heard him saying these words. The man continued reading after a while he said again
"A bhean ata thíos ag a bhfuil an foidhne bhréagh,
Féuch ar do leanbh, is tá sé slán."
The woman didn't move. He remained reading again as before, and then he said the same words again the third time. So then the woman came up and the man vanished away. The woman went towards the cradle. There she saw her child as good as ever. The child was sweating in the cradle. The woman was rewarded for having so much patience. The reason she did'nt tell the man was that she was a very holy woman and she wanted to leave the Sabbath Day go before she would make any alarm about the child.(continues on next page)- Collector
