Long ago a Princess ran away from her father...

Long ago a Princess ran away from her father who lived in Spain to marry the Prince of Munster. Her father followed her. Before the father reached Ireland, she was married to the Prince of Munster. On her way from North Munster to Berehaven, as she was running from her father she died of hunger at a place called "Geata" which is about five miles east of Castletownbere. Her husband buried her in "Cum" nearby. All her jewels and every thing she had, were buried with her. The grave is still to be seen. A stone standing by her head and another by her feet marks the grave. Her name was Queen Bolach Badhrigh.
