  1. There is a friar of the Franciscan Order buried about two miles from my home in the village of Lichen. The friar is supposed to be one of the Plunkets of Castleplunket. A stone marks the spot where he is buried.
    The stone is an oblong shape and standing up straight . On the stone his name is written in Latin. When the Sun is shining directly on it it is the only time you could read the writing . There are some old people living near the place who can read the writing and translate it yet.
