- There was a man one time and his name was John Moore. He lived at the Windy-Gap, Stradbally. He was coming from Stradbally one night about 12 o'clock. He was coming from playing cards. On his way he had to pass a rath. Just as he was passing a rath he saw a big black dog beside him. The man started to run and the dog started to run also. The man saw the dog for three nights until he stopped playing cards.
