Your letter dear Shaun I received in the date,

VI;
At football or hurling we were second to none,
At s jig or a reel we surpassed Garryowen,
A concertine or a flute we could nearly make speak,
So I can't see from us who the laurels can take,
And as for dear Bessie mo Grádh geal machree,
When I say that her equals are few you'll agree,
I may some day return when no more I shall roam,
