One night in a public house in Rosenallis a few local men assembled there. Each man sang a song. One man Ber Gorman the postman stood up to sing his favourite song.
The next night was a devil of a night
and the rain came down in torrents.
And Tony told the tale, and the story goes on as follows,
The next night was a devil of a night,
And the rain came down in torrents.
He repeated this about ten times.
One of the company, feeling very tired from hearing the same thing over and over again said "Ber,if you don't soon shut up there'll be a deluge.
