  1. It got it's name from Sidhean Beag a little fairy fort, or it could be Sean Beithe, old branches. It is in the parish of Rosenallis in the barony of Tinnahinch in the County Laoighis. There are eight families and thirty five people. The most common name is Corcoran. The people over seventy years are Mrs Corcoran. Mr Goodwin and Mick Kerins. They know no Irish. The land is fairly good. There is a small stream, it had no name. There are three cottages. There are no ruined houses.
