    was restored to life again. The witty lady took the King at his word and immediately ordered the table to be drawn back. When was seen Den kneeling under the board with his head protruding through the hole in the table and the dish clasping his neck like a collar. The result was that the King allowed Den to keep his Castle and Glen on condition that he kept his peace. The King expressed his thanks to the lady of the Castle, for the gay banquet provided for him and particularly for the rich draughts of wine.
