  1. A man named Dan Brett lived in Ballydonnell near Mullinohone some years ago.
    He became very ill and the Priest was sent for. As it was a wet day the Priest brought his umbrella with him, umbrellas were very scarce that time.
    When entering the house he closed the umbrella and after going in he opened it again to let it dry. When he was attending the sick man the people of the house were looking with awe at it such a thing they never saw before.
