    animal, he took out his paper and started to read, the horse was taking things easy, and had to be tudged now and again. The bridle not being well fastened slipped off of the horse's head. So absorbed was the man in the news paper that he forgot about his horse and walked several miles of the road with the bridle dragging behind him without knowing his horse was gone to the great amusement of the passers by.
