- No landlord ever lived in Mullinavat. Mr. Tighie resided in a big mansion know as "Woodstock House" in Woodstock, Inistiogue, Co. Kilkenny. His estate agent Mr. Hamilton also resided in Inistiogue He was not a bad landlord and it was never known that he had any evictions, in fact he did much good for the poor people. He built several houses and those were let to the poor for the small sum of one and sixpence per week. There is an agent named Mrs. Murphy who collects the rent for him.
