  1. There was a man living in Mullinavat many years ago by the name of "John Eamon". Himself and his wife went to the fair in "Waterford" to buy a pig. When they had the pig bought both of them went into the "Public House". The old woman stole a pound from a drunken man. Then she went out and put the pound into the asse's ear lest she might be searched by the guards.
