  1. The Walshe family who lived in Buckstown about two hundred years ago were very rich and all their children went to boarding-schools. One Summer when they were coming home on holidays, their parents decided to build a summer-house for them. The Liepreachan was often seen on the site which they chose. While the men were building they heard a voice saying "Any person who ever will meddle with me, harm shall befall them." Every day they would also hear him singing.-
    "Tick, Tack, Tick."
    It is I will be merry and free
    With my little green coat upon my back,
    In the shade of a fairy tree.
