  1. Fairs are held Celbridge, Marynooth, Naas, Kilcock, Saggart -
    They are held on the street in Celbridge, Kilcoch and Marynooth and in Nass on the fair-green and the horses on the street in Naas.
    They are held every third Wednesday of the month in Naas, every Friday in Kelcock, one a year, in August in Celbridge.
    Luck money is always given (luck penny at the paying and they say "The best of luck. The needn't give anything if the like - generally a shilling on pigs 2/- or 5/- on a beast, if dear about 5/- 8/- back on a horse, 2/- for a sheep, 2/6 generally no matter what price the animal may be
