1. Robin Red Breast - When Jesus was crucified it went up on the Cross beside Jesus and the blood was sprinkled on him.

2. The robin flew against the Crown of Thorns which pierced his breast and so got covered with blood.

3. When Jesus was crucified the Robin was the only bird there sitting near. Our Lord exclaimed "Lucky is the bird gave him His last drop of blood and so we are told the robin got his rebreast

4. When Jesus was being crucified the robin was near and he went over and took out a thorn and got sprinkled with blood.

5. At the Crucifiscion the robin tried to pull the nails out of His hands and a drop of blood fell on his breast
