2. Spanish onion and salt for chilblains (Mrs Wing, Celbridge).
3. Rub mustard and Vaseline on chilblains( Mrs Hollingsworth, Celbridge).
4. Walk in snow in bare feet do not put near fire (ditto).
5. Make politics of mustard put on chilblains if not broken (Mrs Hogan , Celbridge)
6. Wash your feet in Flaubert Salt ( Mr R Maguire ,Celbridge ).
7. Bathe in very hot water ( Mrs Hill, Celbridge).
8. Bathe your feet in hot water and rub any kind of oil on it ( Mrs Wing, Celbridge heard in Co Wicklow).
9. Salt and water bath is a cure ( Mr Hill, Celbridge heard in Co Wicklow).
10. Get a raw turnip slice it and put salt on it and rub juice on chilblains morning and night till gone ( heard over wireless).
11. Rub. with sulphur off a match ( Mrs Hollingsworth, Celbridge).
12. Beat feet with prickly holly (Miss Hamilton , Celbridge).
13. Wash your feet in forge water (Mr W Gallagher, Celbridge heard in Co Meath)
