    About a hundred years ago a man named Luail Luinn lived at Mullaloughan near Glaslough. He was a great card-player and spent every night at this pastime. He was well to - do and rode on horseback. He wore breeches and long stockings and shoes with buckles on them.
    One night he was returning home in high spirits as he had been lucky and had won some money. He was on horseback and it was a bright moonlight night. Suddenly a man appeared walking along
