    They would then arrange a day for the wedding and also a day to buy the dress.It was then a local custom for the girl's people to buy the dress and for the intended husband to buy the hats,gloves and veils for the bride and bride's maid.Stock and goods are never given as dowry.
    It is local custom for the bride-groom to go to the bride's house before going to the chapel on the morning of the wedding.After the wedding it is customary for the wedding party to return to the bride's house for their breakfast.Afterwards they spend a few hours dancing and singing.The wedding party would then go for a drive from which they would return to the bride's house.
    After some hours spent in the bride's house the bride,bride-groom and a few of the girl's friends would go to the bride-groom's home.
