  1. To cure a sprain the person who has the cure makes the sign of the cross on the ground and then on the sprain
    and while they are doing so they say some prayers which cannot be heard.
    When a boy and a girl of the same name get married they are able to cure the whooping cough by giving a piece of bread or anything the person, who has the cough, can eat.
