    Bread.
Long ago all the people made their own bread. They milled their own flour and each household had its own grindstones to grind. The grain was dried and it was placed between the stones.
There is a grinding stone at Pat Soraghan's,one at Jimmy Sherry's and one at Frank Caulfield's.
Potato bread was made from boiled potatoes. The potatoes were brushed and bruised with a tin porringer.Flour was then added along with a pinch of salt.
All were kneaded together and cut out with a cup.
Oaten bread is made from oaten meal, salt and luke-warm water
