    There are a lot of birds in this district:-
    Robins, Thrushes, Blackbirds, wrens, corncrakes, cuckoos, swallows, sparrows starlings and yellow hammers.
    The Blackbird builds her nest in bushes or in banks. The thrush in hedges or in fences. The swallows in the cow-houses. The robin in fences. The wren in an old wall or in a holly bush. The crow on the tops of tall trees.
    The thrush usually lays about five eggs, blue with brown spots. The wren
