    of a shoe on to a timber sole. First, he gets a last, a hammer, and clog-nails. He then clogs the upper part on to the sole with the nails. He can also repair shoes. It was said that long ago the people used to cut the soles, out of the trunks of trees. Corns if paired on Xmas Eve at nightfall, will banish. When pairing the nails of your toe, if a woman enters the house, it is a sign of bad luck.
