    The sting of a nettle is cured by putting a dock leaf on the affected part for five minutes.
    A person who licks a man-keeper when young has the cure for a burn. They when any one gets a burn the person who has the cure licks the burn and says certain prayers afterwards over the burned part.
    A hiccough is cured by a good fright, and also by taking a drink of cold water.
    An old cure for cuts was to let a dog lick them and then the sore would heal up quickly.
