There was once a young lady who had been away from home for a very long time. She returned at last, and was very particular. She was working round the house and her father said to her,
"Put out the lamp, Nellie,"
"That is wrong father, you should say
extinguish the lamp,"
After a while a pig came in and her father said to her.
