    In a county village in Co.Mayo there were five boys and they were great comrades.

    A story told at the fireside.
    In a country village in Co. Mayo there were five boys and they were great comrades.
    Unfortunately one of them named Paddy, was very fond of drink and it annoyed the other four boys very much. They tried several remedies to stop him from visiting the village pub, but all to no use. At last they made up their minds to try a new plan, so on one particular evening the four boys followed Paddy into the pub, and explained to him there, the evils of drink. They also told him how lonely it would be for him who had to pass a graveyard going home so late at night.
    But Paddy only laughed and said he was afraid of nothing even though he
