  1. "Old stones, monuments and crosses"
There are many places of (off) interest in Co Sligo such as Bunbullen mountain. Knocknarea mountain, Green-fort, Carrorowe, and Cullen na Mor.
On the road to Coollooney there is a beautiful monument erected in memory of a man called Teeling, for a brave act he did in the Battle of Catlebar 1798. The monument is of Teeling himself and is facing Castlebar.
On the Albert Line there is a beautiful cross known as the Cenotaph in memory of the Sligo-men who laid down their lives in the Great War 1914 ' 18.
There is a cairn on the top of Knocknarea under which Queen Maeve is buried.
