  1. Saint Brigid's Day is on the first of February and for two or three days before this day boys go around their district gathering money. Then they invite all the girls from the district and they give them a dance and free entertainment on st. Brigid's night. Brideog Night is what people call it.
Saint Patrick's day is a holy day as well as a national holiday in Ireland as it was on the seventeenth of March St. Patrick Died. All the Irish people wear a piece of shamrock on this day, and little girls wear a green ribbon on their hair and small boys wear a green badge made with green ribbon and gold tinsel.
