  1. "Festival Customs"
    These are some of the customs observed during the following festivvals.
    On St. Brigid's ought some boys and girls dress up with false faces and other such things. They dance round and round the houses until they get in, then they beg for money and if they don't get some they brake the windows and doors.
    On St. Patrick's day everybody wear a Shamrock in remembrance of St. Patrick and in many places they hold processions.
    On Shrove Tuesday everyone eats pan cakes and in the country they make them a special way and fry them on a griddle.
