    It was rubbed on the burned spot.
    Sprain. There is a blessed well in the centre of broagh river. The river water never enters the well it runs both sides of it. Many people were cured bu its waters especially of a sprained foot.
    Sprain. A spinner who keeps the last thread after a days spinning has the cure of a sprained foot, they must use the thread which is called a ''spraining thread''.
    Sore eyes. Mrs McDonald, Farrelmacfarrel, Dromore West, Co. Sligo has the cure of dust in the eye. She rubs her tongue on the eye.
