   Now as he was passing he got his sight and called and woke, all the people up. From that day till the day of his death he had his sight and he lived a happy life after. When he recovered his sight he began to learn to play the violin. So that's my story.

   There was a very big fort in Gortinare. It belonged to the Quilters and a few remarkable things happened there. One night my grandmother and a few more girls wanted to go to a dance about three miles away from where they were living. They were young at the time the girls were her cousins and they were staying on a holiday but they would not be let go
