  1. 1. A prayer before you begin your morning prayers or night prayers
    "My Lord and my Saviour,
    My King and my Crown,
Raise me to glory and free me from Sin,
And give me the benefit of the prayers which I am going to begin"
    2. A cure for tooth-ache
    "As Jesus was walking along,
He met St. Peter sitting on a marble stone
Arise up Peter what ails you?
I am suffering from a toothache"
Any person who repeats this prayer five times a night or five times a day, shall never be troubled with a tooth-ache, head-ache or fever.
    3. My Jesus have mercy on me.
My soul and my body I raise unto thee.
Thy five bleeding wounds were nailed to a tree
Oh crucified Jesus have mercy on me".
