The occupants were thrown on the roadside to die of want or look for charity to their more fortunate neighbours. The evicted people were shipped to the British Colonies and to the United States in what were them called coffin ships which were not fit to convey pigs and hundreds of them died from(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
