    a sign of rain. when a cat is sitting with its back to a fire it is a sign of a storm. When clouds are chasing other it is a sign of a storm, and when they are seen resting on a mountaintop is is a sign of rain. If the ducks are quacking loudly it is a sign of rain, and when the geese come to the farm-yard gate it is a sign of frost. When a cat scrapes a chair or any other object there is a storm ahead. When the sheep keep to the bottom of a hill it is a sign of rain. When dogs eat grass or drink water it is a sign of rain. When the hens travel far through the fields it is a sign of good weather. When all the hens gather together it is a sign of rain. When the dust on the roads is blown round in a circle it is a sign of rain.
