  1. Once the Gobán Saor was sent for in a car to go to a certain friend of his who was ill. The car did not go to the friend's house but, it went to the king's palace for the king was angry with him for not finishing his palace in England. They brought him to the palace and against his will made him try and complete the castle. The Gobán had a lovely room with big velvet curtains lovely chairs and electric light but when alone he was always on one side and the king on the other and every day the king came to tell him that he would kill him when he had the castle finished. One night the Gobán thought of a plan; he got up behind the curtain and when the guard came he hid there. The guard went to look for him when he came to the curtain
