How happy boys we all should feel,
    To assemble here tonight.
And thank the Lord who gave us health
    In friendship to unite.
Discord and strife exist through life
But here there is none at all.
    But happiness to crown success.
    At our yearly Xmas Ball.

This time last year when we were here
    This Ball we did enjoy.
When Nellie and Tom did court so strong
To act the girl and boy.
To court a stroke it was no joke.
    At the age of 94.

    And to conduct the play.
With Captain Laheen at our head
    And Flynn to shout hurrah.
