  1. My Father told me a story about a man near Galway that used to come twelve miles to cure the cleitheen.
    He used to put an oatmeal cake on the stomach and a glass over the cake. The cake used to lift the bone that was out of place. He used to come for four Wednesdays and at the end of that time the man was cured.
    (2) If a person had a toothache, and to put the hand of a dead, - corpse into where you have the toothache and you would never get any toothache again.
