  1. My uncle told me a story about a light that used to be seen in a fort near Menlough.
    One night a crowd of people were going to a fair and they saw a light coming out of the fort. They watched it, and saw it going to a neighbours house.
    After a while it came back to the fort again. Next day they heard there was a girl dead in that house to which they saw the light travelling and the men said it was the fairies that brought her because she was a beautiful girl.
