  1. My father told me that the people long ago used to have certain days of the year which they would not get married on, - they would not get married o the 28th of December, it is called the "Cross - day" of the year and other people call it the "odd" day of the year.
    Another superstition the people had about marriages was - Monday was the sign of health, Tuesday wealth, Wednesday the best of all. Thursday losses, Friday crosses, and Saturday no luck at all.
