  1. Travellers call to our house from time to time. Almost the same families always call. The Wards, McDonaghs, Stokes and Devanes are the families that usually call. They travel from place to place.
    Some of them sell small articles - mirrors broaches, combs, laces, beads and Prayer books. They stay about 5 or 6 days in every place. They sleep in tents. Their beds are made of straw and they cover themselves with their shawls.
